Veteran gospel artiste, Rev. George Owusu Mensah dies at 64

Veteran gospel musician, cleric, Rev. George Owusu Mensah is dead.

The singer who is well known for the song, Matwen Ewurade Anim, died at age of 64.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, November 10, to officially announce the death, his son and gospel singer, Kofi Owusu Peprah wrote, “Perplexed, but not in despair!!! Thank you Daddy see you on the Resurrection Day 🙏🏻🙏🏻💔 #everytimeisworshiptime"

Until his demise, Rev George Mensah served as Head Pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Amakom.

Rev. Owusu Mensah left an indelible mark on the gospel music scene with iconic hits like "Matwen Awurade Anim" and "Wo Nkutoo Na Wo Se Ayeyiee."
