Sparrow Pictures ‘Madam’ premieres this evening on Akwaaba Magic
Award winning producer and CEO of Sparrow Pictures, Shirley Frimpong Manso is out with a new television series Madam.

The new series features Joselyn Dumas, Salma Mumin, Habiba Sinare, Jasmine Baroudi, Luckie Lawson, Michael Katahena, Dean Amegashie, Adoma, Godwin Namboh among many others.
Madam which premieres this evening at 8:00 pm on Akwaaba Magic on DSTV or GOTV is a story of a corrupt woman revered and feared by all in equal measure.
Joselyn Dumas who plays the character of Lankai Morgan wants power and will go to any length to ensure she has it.
Through her NGO, she recruits poor girls under the guise of rehabilitation yet gives them out for sexual favours to politicians and big men she needs to keep in her pocket.
As she works hard to keep her prostitution and crime ring going under the guise of operating an NGO, the very people she works with plot her exposure.
But that is not all there is. She has dark family secrets likely to mar her image when they come out.
Speaking at the press launch recently, Shirley Frimpong-Manso said that she produced Madam for Ghanaians to continue to enjoy her works.
She noted that she featured some actors from her first telenovela Dede in Madam since viewers loved and hoped to see them again.
“I always say you have to love this job to actually do it and do it well. We are writing this story with a big cast with complex stories and it all has to nicely connect. It’s madness but it is good madness,” she said.
She told Graphic Showbiz that it takes dedication and hard work to produce quality series and she goes all out to do that because of the passion she has for the job.
