Sister Derby: I’m done with men, they just break my heart

It possibly may be the end of the road for Ghanaian musician, Sister Derby in her search for love after disclosing she’s no longer interested in pursuing romantic relationships.

Thanks to the numerous heartbreaks she has suffered, the Uncle Obama singer says it’s a goodbye to love since she has always been unlucky with men.

In a recent interview with Okay FM, Sister Derby disclosed that she always goes the extra mile to invest in the relationship but things end up badly so she has decided to take a break to focus on her personal well-being.

“Whenever I am in a relationship, I go all out for the person. I always put the people I love ahead of my needs. When I am in a relationship, I invest all my energy and resources, which ends up draining me and slowing me down. I get turned off when I realise the affection is only one-sided," Sister Derby said.

Sister Derby's romantic journey has not been without its fair share of public ups and downs. After a highly demanding relationship with rapper Medikal hit the rocks, she stayed low for a while.

However, things got heated uin November 2021 when she introduced one David to the world as her new partner. Their relationship was thought to be growing when the couple shared lovey- dovey pictures of themselves on social media on Valentine’s Day this year.

Despite the initial excitement, the Amapiano singer and David eventually parted ways, and reasons for their separation remain undisclosed.

Interestingly, the two former lovers have erased memories of their special moments by deleting pictures of themselves on their respective social media handles.
