The mother of three opened the marathon with the iconic Osibisa track 'Woyaya' and continued with a medley of seasonal Ghanaian gospel hits from artistes such as Tagoe Sisters, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Yaw Sarpong and Esther Smith.

Switching from the gospel scene, Afua Asantewaa transitions to secular tunes by the likes of Shatta Wale, Ebony Reigns, Wendy Shay, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Adina, Samini, Sarkodie, Black Sherif among others.

Throughout her ongoing journey, she adheres to intermittent four-minute breaks under the guidelines of the Guinness World Records.

Perhaps not loud,  Afua Asantewaa who is delighting the audience with a repertoire of beloved Ghanaian songs is also seen subtly championing the "Wear Made in Ghana" agenda as she is adorned in stunning Ghanaian outfits, The highlight of this singathon is how  Afua Asantewaa beyond singing is marking her spot as a rap virtuoso too. Her delivery of Popular Bradez song Simple was just impressive.

While Afua Asantewaa is not a professional singer, she is determined to surpass the current record-holder, Indian Sunil Waghmare, who sang for an impressive 105 hours from March 3 to March 7, 2012. Sunil Waghmare's record stands at 102 hours.

The Akwaaba Village ground where this historic journey is taking place is buzzing with well-wishers and notable celebrities, including comedians DKB and Clemento Suarez who have trooped in to rally behind her.

On social media as well, the #afuaasantewaasingathon and #Guinessworldrecords hashtag# are trending at number one and three respectively with an outpouring of encouragement and positive sentiments from the public.
