Shatta Wale now part of Zylofon brand
It may have been the worst kept secret but that did not stop a large number of people from thronging the head offices of Zylofon Media at East Legon, Accra yesterday to witness the unveiling of award winning Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale as part of the Zylofon fold.
For some days, the rumour mill had been very active with reports that the self acclaimed Dancehall king was joining what is fact becoming the biggest entertainment brand.

There was also speculation about the signing on fee which ranged between one million dollars and two million dollars while there were also rumours that he would be given a Rolls Royce or a Range Rover.
However, none of those details were revealed at the press event which was taken over by Shatta Movement fans.
An elated Shatta Wale said he was happy his dream of being part of Zylofon Media has been achieved.
He was confident the move will enhance his career and promised to work hard to promote Ghanaian music on the international front.
For his part, the CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah said he had always believed in the “Shatta dream” and was happy to have him on his team.
“Music is tourism and if we get the right investment in the industry, we will sell the country well to the outside world,” he said.
The Shatta Movement boss will be joining artistes like Stonebwoy, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Joyce Blessing and Obibini who were signed on to the record label last year.
As expected, Shatta Wale staged a mini concert after the official unveiling.
