JUST a few days after being elected president of the Students Representative Council (SRC) of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), award winning Dancehall artiste, Samini is fully back to his music business.
He will co-headline the maiden edition of DMV Party in The Park, a Pan African picnic and musical festival in United States on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Frederick Fairgrounds, Maryland.
Samini who has carved a niche for himself as a great stage performer and will be supported by Nigerian artiste, Wande Coal as co-headline artiste at the festival which is geared at promoting African artistes and music.
“I am entreating all music lovers and Africans in the United States to make a date with me at DMV Party in The Park, for my best performance yet. Grab your tickets now and come and experience a new Samini.
"This will be a special performance from me after chalking another milestone in my academic pursuit as a student leader,” Samini said.
In a statement, Wande Coal who is very popular in Ghana for his feature on R2Bee’s Kiss Your Hand in 2010, has assured nothing but the best from him come Sunday.
“On my part, it will be a back to back affair of all my hit songs and a great performance on stage. It promises to be a summer to remember experience with the Naija flavour for a truly African festival experience,” he stated.
Aside the two headline artistes, there is a team from Ghana made up of D-Black, Down Flat hitmaker, Kelvyn Boy, E Choke hitmaker S3fa and Darko Vibes ready to thrill guests as well.
DMV Party in The Park will be hosted by Ghana’s YouTuber and comedian Ebaby Kobby and Nigeria’s Legendary Mike.
DJ K Crakk (Ghana), DJ Slim (Ghana), DJ Akua (Ghana), DJ Blast (Cameroun), DJ Sam I Am (Seirra Leone), DJ Rozay (Ghana), DJ Fat Mike (Nigeria) and DJ Tea Bee (Ghana) will spin the disc to distribute fun at the event.
The DMV Party in The Park is a StarBuzz Media LLC event in partnership with the Office of the Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Beyond the Return Secretariat with support from the Ghana Tourism Authority and RigWorld Ghana.
