Gospel musician and worship leader, William Quarm Bennin, popularly known as Ruger Quarm, is out with a new song, Yeda Woase on Thursday, June 18.
The song is expected to add to the growing catalogue of inspirational songs from the talented singer, composer and recording artiste whose career continues to gain recognition within Ghana's gospel music fraternity.
Ruger Quarm, who was nominated for Gospel Artiste of the Year at the 2022 Western Gospel Awards, has steadily built a reputation for his passionate worship and message-driven music.
Born into a family of musicians, he developed talent from an early age by observing and learning from family members.
Despite pursuing a professional career as a Procurement Officer, the Takoradi Technical University graduate has remained committed to his music ministry, using his songs to inspire and impact lives.
Speaking ahead of the release on Monday, June 15, Ruger Quarm described Yeda Woase as a heartfelt expression of gratitude to God for His faithfulness and goodness.
“Every season of my life has given me a reason to thank God. Yeda Woase is a song of appreciation and thanksgiving for all that He has done and continues to do in our lives. I believe the song will encourage many people to reflect on God's goodness and give Him praise," he said.
Over the years, Ruger Quarm has collaborated with notable gospel musicians including Kofi Owusu Peprah and David Osabutey, while also sharing platforms with celebrated gospel ministers such as Joe Mettle, the late KODA, Francis Amo, MOG Music, Efe Grace, SK Frimpong, Nii Okai and Ohemaa Mercy.
His previous songs, including The Name of Jesus, Wo Ne Alpha and the popular Alpha & Omega, have earned him recognition among gospel music enthusiasts and established him as a familiar face at worship events and church gatherings across the country.
According to Ruger Quarm, his music ministry is driven by a desire to influence society positively, particularly among young people.
"My passion is to actively conscientise the youth about the right lifestyle and traits that have a positive influence on society through my songs. Beyond melodies, I want my music to inspire transformation and a closer walk with God," he stated.
