His love for sharp haircuts and fades is what motivated Patrick Kofi Ofosu Tanor to establish Real Mens Quarters, a trendy barbering salon that has earned a reputation for style and quality.

Located just before the Mallam Lorry Station, Real Mens Quarters caters to a wide variety of clientele and is quickly gaining grounds as the barbering salon that serves some of the biggest celebrities in the country.
According to Patrick, even as a young child he has always had a passion for style and fashion that was the motivation to establish the barbering outfit to deliver quality haircuts and grooming services to men in Accra.

Although Real Mens Quarters which he runs with his business partner, Benedicta Ofosu Tanor who happens to be his wife, has been in business for less than a year, it is widely patronised, a feat Patrick credits to the grace of God.
“The foundation of this business is built on Christ and it is just God’s grace that is keeping us going and I have some of the best workers you can find anywhere,” he said.

Some of the notable personalities who have patronised the services of Real Mens Quarters include Funny Face, Jason of GhOne TV, Gospel artiste Ophelia Nyantakyi, Bismark the Joke and Genesis of Hiplife group D2 who was in the process of getting his haircut during this interview.
Patrick explained that the fast rising status of the shop is due to hard work, talented staff and good custom which are constantly leading to positive referrals.
A well groomed customer
“Comedian and actor, Funny Face came here and he was so impressed he brought his colleague Bismark the Joke along the next time he came. Bismark the Joke also brought others along and that is how our clientele and reputation has grown exponentially,” he added.
“We have a team of four highly competent hairstylists who are the pillars of this establishment. There is Frank who is known as the celebrity barber, he has the talent for crafting designs and styles in the hair of clients that will blow your mind.
“ Michael aka Scanty the Barber is also a very good barber whose clients always leave with smiles on their faces. Another is Emmanuel aka Realest Barber who is also very good with the last but not the least being Osagyefo aka Emmanuel, who is among the best babers you can find anywhere in the country,” he said.

Despite the “celebrity” status Real Men’s Quarters has gained, Patrick tells Showbiz that the services of the shop are affordable and the shop is open to everyone irrespective of social status.
“We cater to everyone from toddlers to the elderly. We do not discriminate and our affordable rates mean that you have celebrities coming here as well as students, workers and other members of the public,” he said.
“Based on the pictures on our social media handles, people naturally assume that our services are expensive but the truth is they are pleasantly surprised when they call our numbers or send messages and they learn of our rates,” he added.
Real Mens Quarters assures clients of standard quality not just in haircuts but with other grooming services such as facials for men as well as pedicure and manicure.
