Once again, rapper Sarkodie proved why he is still the best at what he does when he led a pack of musicians to give patrons a good time at this year’s Rapperhpolic concert at the Accra International Conference Centre on Christmas Day.
For more than three hours, the rapper was a delight to watch as he pleased his audience with one exciting act after the other.
Dressed in a hooded top with a white inner and a pair of big red combat boots, Sarkodie came on stage with a group of dancers. He wasted no time dropping songs such as Hand To Mouth, Return Of The Spartan and Origina which seemed to be the favourites of his audience.
After raising high the temperature in the hall, he started introducing the artistes he had done collaborations with.
Jayso came on stage to perform Pizza and Burger with Sarkodie. Sarkodie was also joined by Akwaboah, Efya, Ofori Amponsah, Jupiter, Samini, R2Bees and Tee Phlow to keep thrilling the audience.
It was something else when Nigeria’s Wizkid and Fuse ODG respectively joined Sarkodie on stage. Wizkid performed Ojuelegba with Sarkodie and got almost everyone in the auditorium dancing and singing along.
Fuse ODG was on stage for just two minutes performing Down On One with Sarkodie yet he had patrons screaming his name over and over again.
The excitement at the concert skyrocketed when Sarkodie was joined by Shatta Wale on stage. Shatta performed his Kakai song three times to the delight of patrons. The two well-loved acts sealed the merry-making when they belted out Me Gye Wo Girl.
There were other performances from artistes like E.L, Tinny, VVIP, Keche, Episode, Rudebwoy Ranking, Pappy Kojo, Joey B, Strongman, Donzy and D-Sherrif.
This year’s Rapperhpolic which had DKB as the emcee, was put together by Event Factory.
