At a time when corporate sponsorship appears increasingly difficult to secure within Ghana’s gospel music space, gospel artiste and worship leader Quame Gyedu has scored a rare double win with Dorcas Ventures.
The POP products company has not only named him its brand ambassador but has also signed on as the headline sponsor of his annual Festival of Testimonies (FoT).
The partnership gives Quame Gyedu both a major corporate endorsement and financial backing for the worship event, making it a significant development in his growing career.
The Festival of Testimonies, founded by the gospel minister, brings worshippers together for music, prayer and testimonies.
The latest agreement brings together Dorcas Ventures’ commercial interests and Quame Gyedu’s growing influence in Ghana’s contemporary gospel music space.
As part of the ambassadorial deal, Quame Gyedu will represent Dorcas Ventures in its brand and community engagement activities across its markets, including Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso.
The company said the appointment was informed by the minister’s public profile and the values it seeks to associate with its brand.
For Quame Gyedu, the partnership comes at a time when gospel artistes and events continue to seek stronger corporate partnerships to support the growth and sustainability of the genre.
Speaking after the announcement, he said he was grateful for the opportunity to work with Dorcas Ventures.
“I am deeply honoured to join the Dorcas Ventures family as their Brand Ambassador. This partnership is more than a business relationship; it is a shared vision to inspire hope, promote excellence and create meaningful impact,” he said.
He added that he was particularly grateful for the company’s decision to support the Festival of Testimonies.
The sponsorship is expected to support this year’s edition of the event, which will feature worship, musical performances, prayers and testimonies.
For Dorcas Ventures, the partnership forms part of its efforts to associate its brand with initiatives that engage communities beyond its core business.
Quame Gyedu has in recent years grown his profile in Ghana’s contemporary gospel music space through his worship sessions, songwriting and the Festival of Testimonies.
Songs and ministrations associated with the minister include Osaberima, Meda W’ase, Nyame Ye and the Festival of Testimonies Anthem.
The annual event has also become a platform for worshippers to share personal testimonies and celebrate what they describe as acts of God in their lives.
The latest partnership reflects a growing trend of corporate brands collaborating with gospel ministers and faith-based events to connect with religious communities and support initiatives beyond traditional commercial activities.
