The veteran director composed all the music for the film and is collaborating with a few other musicians including keyboardist Cleland Doe-Sallah, flutist  Dela Botri and guitarist Akablay to perform and record the music.

“Music helps to tell the story. It even helps to strengthen whatever story is being told and I’m happy so far with the way the score for this project is going,” Ansah said.

“We would finish a final mix of all the different components of the soundtrack by the middle of this month. The film would then effectively be ready for public showing but the appropriate venue for the premiere would not be available till the middle of September.”

Praising The Lord Plus One is about people who take advantage of the gullibility of others under the guise of working for the Lord.

“The issue of personalities duping people in the name of God is a very important and pressing one that must be told. It is happening everyday. Ordinary folks are getting poorer and some unscrupulous people are getting richer.”

Actors in Praising The Lord Plus One include Ama K. Abebrese, Albert Jackson Davis, Anima Misa Amoah, Ekow Smith Asante, Eddie Nartey, Adjetey ‘Pusher’ Anang, Fred Amugi, Dzifa Glikpoe, Martin Owusu, Vivienne Achor, Nii Addokwei Moffat and Akosua Agyapong.
