PHOTOS: Pomp and pageantry at GTP 50th anniversary launch
The Tex Styles Ghana Limited (GTP, a leading textiles manufacturing company, on Tuesday launched its 50th anniversary with pomp and pageantry at its premises in Tema.

GTP, which is celebrated for its colourful prints and lively fabrics, celebrated 50 years of commitment to Ghanaian fashion, culture, communities and economy.
To mark the occasion, the company hosted a morning of festivities including a photo exhibition depicting 50 years in the brand’s history, speeches by key dignitaries, a fashion show and performances by the GTP Jubilee Choir.
The Managing Director of the GTP, Mr Kofi Boateng, said his outfit was “tremendously honoured to have reached the half century mark as a company.”

The launch was attended by several eminent personalities, including Executive Director of the Salt and Light Ministry, Dr Joyce Aryee; Former Health Minister, Dr Sherry Ayittey; Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo; and former Minister for Trade, Mr Alan Kyeremateng.
