Only jealous and ignorant people are trolling Stonebwoy over Grammy snub – Rex Omar
Seasoned Highlife musician Rex Omar has slammed trolls coming at Reggae/Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy over his recent Grammy snub, labeling them as driven by sheer jealousy and ignorance.
The multiple award-winning Ghanaian Dancehall artiste missed out on the coveted list of the prestigious awards' nominations for his latest album, "5th Dimension." (Ghana's Stonebwoy let off Grammys list, Davido, others make it big)
Despite this setback, Rex Omar emphasised that Stonebwoy's contributions to the music industry and his efforts in putting Ghana on the global map should not be overshadowed because he didn't earn a Grammy nomination.

Speaking in a recent interview on Property FM in Cape Coast, Rex Omar pointed out that even some globally recognised figures in the music industry had not secured Grammy wins, yet their worth as musicians remained intact.
He urged the public to acknowledge Stonebwoy's hard work emphasising that the absence of a Grammy nod does not write down his artistic prowess.
"Imagine that, despite Stonebwoy's relentless efforts, some Ghanaians are trolling him simply because he wasn't nominated for the Awards. That's what this country is, and when these things happen, it makes the artiste feel discouraged and disappointed," Rex Omar stated.
He further cautioned against allowing ignorance and jealousy to drive criticism, stating, "If you're a Ghanaian and, because of ignorance and jealousy, you decide to troll Stonebwoy, then who are you trolling? You're trolling yourself and the country."
