On to the next chapter - Andy Dosty hints on exiting Multimedia?
Popular radio presenter, Andy Dosty has sent many of his followers in a state of confusion with a Facebook post that suggests he may be considering leaving his current employer.

In the post on Monday (April 3, 2023) the host of Showbiz Review on Hitz FM expressed appreciation to his employers and followers.
He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve in the last 10 years of working with Multimedia.
“Thank you to the Multimedia Group and my dear audience for the opportunity to serve you EVERYDAY. God bless us all. ON TO THE NEXT CHAPTER!!!!,” a part of the post read.
In the lengthy post which had comments from the likes of Kojo Preko Dankwa, The convener of Foundation Of Concerned Arts Professionals (FOCAP) and hiplife artiste, Gasmilla, Andy Dosty, real name, Andrew Amoh recalled how the likes of rapper, Okyeame Kwame were instrumental in getting him back home after sojourning in America for years.
“In 2012 I decided to leave America as advised by Okyeame Kwame to come back home so I don’t lose my popularity (even in Kumasi) due to my long absence. Abraham Ohene-Djan (CEO, OM studios) created a TV show and me [as] host, themed Graphic Showbiz On Tv which was an audiovisual version of the newspaper; syndicated on almost all Tv stations.
“Although successful, the show ran for just a year due to certain circumstances (I’ll share that later). In December 2012, Kojo Preko Dankwah invited me to guest-host Adom FM’s drive-time show “OFIE KWAN SO”. At the tail end of the show, about 99% of the listeners were asking me to stay as they phoned in.
“Few weeks later, I was invited AGAIN but by the Human Resources Department. We concluded that I would host the show BUT NO for two reasons thus
“1. Per their structure I was expected to present effectively in Twi but my pronouncements were predominantly in English (aaahhh Asante nii ba paaa ne Abrofos3m)
“2. Jerry justice had begun hosting the show and was doing very well as displayed by their “barometer” popularly known as the Tracker.
“They quickly arranged for me to start a 2 hour show on Hitz 103.9 FM dubbed EASY LISTENING from 1-3pm on 1st April 2013.
“I remember some few words in my opening presentation, “THIS IS THE FIRST PAGE OF A NEW CHAPTER OF A NEW STORYBOOK”.
“Glory to God it’s been 10 years of indeed a new chapter.
“I celebrate ME and MYSELF for all the hard work. I work SO HARD, I mean SO HARD to keep me going. I doubt if there’s ANY other presenter or DJ that works on HITZ FM, JOY FM, ADOM FM and on TV and has his/her own business (aside). Sometimes, I get too scared and worried but hey……NO PAIN, NO GAIN,” he wrote.
