After parting ways with his group mate, Phonix last year, young RnB/ hip-hop artiste, Olando GH is back to business with the promotion of his latest song, Happy Day, which was released in December last year.
The song which features Ablord and Expert and recorded at Africa Collection Studio, La, talks about how people love to be happy irrespective of the condition they find themselves.
In the song which was produced by Ablord, Olando GH sings about how he does not allow life’s difficulties to tame his happiness since he has no problem with anyone and would keep celebrating his good moments
Ablord then spices the song with his Twi rap and it seems to have been a done deal for the ‘trio’ when Expert comes in afterwards with his English raps.
In an interview with Showbiz, Olando GH, real name, Appiah Titus, said his music journey has been inspired over the years by Ghanaian R&B artiste, Chase.
“I got my inspiration from Chase, he is my mentor, I like his voice, lyrics and the image he has carved for himself. Whenever I listen to his songs, I feel something new so I said to myself, I want to be like him”, he said.
When asked of his biggest challenge in the industry as an upcoming artiste, he said, “My biggest challenge now is money. It’s difficult to get a record label which believes in your dreams and talent and would love to support you from the scratch. That is my headache now as I work hard to reach my aim.
“I believe I’m blessed with a unique voice and the ability to be versatile so I can do various music genres including gospel. I urge Ghanaians to expect something unique from me because I am talented and a hard working artiste. I just need the support to rise to the top,” he stated.
Some of the songs Olando GH is known for are Aisha, Kaashimi featuring Mas, Blessing featuring Mas and Episode, This Life featuring Expert, My Life, Love You, and Mala featuring Dr Vyne among others.
