Nothing fazes me - Ohemaa Mercy

With all the brouhaha surrounding Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy’s marriage with even claims of divorce, she seems unperturbed, forging ahead with her life and looking forward to her new projects including her Tehillah Experience concert this year.

Speaking with the Graphic Showbiz on the sidelines of the launch of the upcoming concert at the Airport West Hotel on Tuesday, July 13, the singer said she was not the type of person who gives up easily, adding that she trusts in the Lord so much that nothing moves her.

“Leaning on the Lord is always the best because He is a solid rock, anyone who puts their trust in the Lord always succeeds no matter what they go through. I have a covenant with God that no matter what, I would worship Him and He has never disappointed me,” she said.

Asked her advice to people going through marital challenges, Ohemaa Mercy said, “It is not over until you personally give up. Mostly, when Christians go through trials and tribulations, they should know that suffering is part of Christianity but there is an assurance that when we fall, we will surely rise again. What God cannot do does not exist,” she stated.

Away from that, Ohemaa Mercy has announced artistes performing at this year’s Tehillah Experience scheduled to take place on August 8 at the International Central Gospel Church, Calvary Temple on the Spintex Road.
