In an industry where many musicians struggle to sustain their careers over the years, reaching the 25-year mark is no small achievement.
It is a milestone worth celebrating, demonstrating perseverance, passion and the grace to keep going despite the challenges of the music business.
For veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Noble Nketsiah, that milestone has arrived, and he is marking it with a Silver Jubilee concert to celebrate 25 years in gospel music.
The concert will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at ICGC Calvary Temple, Spintex, Accra, at 5 p.m.
Joining him on the night will be fellow gospel musicians Obaapa Christy, Kofi Karikari, Rev. Mary Ghansah, Rev. Joe Beecham and Seth Acheampong.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz on Monday, October 19, Noble Nketsiah described reaching the 25-year milestone as a blessing, particularly in an industry where sustaining a career for such a long period is no easy feat.
“While many artistes begin their journeys with big dreams, not all get the opportunity to build lasting musical legacies. Getting to this point is a blessing and an opportunity to reflect on the challenges, growth and experiences that have shaped my career.
“It has been a journey of faith, perseverance and God’s grace, and I am grateful for how far He has brought me,” he said.
Noble, known for songs such as Metease Yi, Mmofra Yi, Barima Yesu and Yesu Do, established himself as one of Ghana’s recognised gospel musicians in the early 2000s.
His album Yesu Do, released in October 2001, featured songs including “Yesu Do”, “Adom Arakwa”, “Masee Me Mmre” and “I’m Thirsting for You”.
He later received recognition at 2006 Ghana Music Awards, winning Gospel Song of the Year and Gospel Album of the Year for his work on My Vision.
Beyond the awards and songs, the Silver Jubilee offers an opportunity to celebrate the years of commitment that have gone into building his musical legacy.
