Night of 1029 Laughs
The 1000 Laughs series have become part of the most expected events on Ghana’s entertainment calendar and has been delivering a good blend of stand-up comedy and music to a largely urbane audience for the past 17 years.
1000 Laughs has always lived up to its billing but organisers Charterhouse is not leaving anything to chance as they get ready for another series at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre(AICC) on Monday, December 26.
Already, they are whetting the appetite of the public with assurance of another show that will not only be a side-splitting galore but will also serve patrons with great music from artistes billed for the night.
This year’s event will feature a gaggle of comedians from the UK, Series 13 of Britain’s Got Talent finalists, Kojo Anim; from Nigeria Bovi and Kenny Blaq; and from Ghana Lekzy De Comic, OB Amponsah and Funny Face.
Kenny Blaq who is known for his ability to weave music into his jokes is expected to deliver a top notch enactment as well.
There will also be a performance from one of Ghana’s music giants Kuami Eugene who will bring his a-game and put up an energetic stage presence.
That is not all, there is Cina Soul, who is gradually weaving her way into the hearts of many with tunes such as Ojorley, Julor, Killi Me and Feelings giving her a good measure of relevance.
Night of 1029 Laughs and Music is powered by Charterhouse and it is expected to be a premium event to help patrons end the year on a note of good feelings of joyfulness.
