Nigerian artiste slams Shatta Wale

EUROPE based Nigerian artiste, Arisco Lee has slammed Dancehall act, Shatta Wale for disparaging Nigerian music.

According to Arisco Lee, Nigerian music has no competition not only because of the size of the Nigerian market but also because Nigerian artistes use rhythms derived from their culture.

Speaking with Showbiz, he asked Shatta Wale to focus on promoting his music rather than trying to ride on Nigerian artistes for attention.

“Making noise on social media is not the way to generate hype for yourself. The world has noticed the positive message in our songs and that has paved the way for our industry and has given individuals and companies the confidence to invest in our music,” he said.
