It seems new Gospel artiste, Nana Serwaa is starting the year 2023 on a good footing.

She’s bagged her first nomination in the Gospel Artiste of the Year category at the upcoming Face of Ghana Youth Awards scheduled for the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Saturday, January 28, 2023.

The nomination is booster dose for the artiste who released singles Ye Twiri Wo and I’m Grateful last year, with the goal of drawing some good eye balls to her works.

Talking about her nomination, Nana Serwaa in a chat told Graphic Showbiz although she is excited, she is not bothered by the outcome since being given the nod is a great honour.

“This is probably the biggest news about my career and a win or not will not discourage me as I view this as the beginning of greater things to come.

“Besides, I don’t want to focus so much on winning awards so that I don’t feel discouraged when it doesn’t happen but concentrate on how I’m making impact with my music,” she said.

Face of Ghana Youth Awards is an initiative of Glint Africa, and was put together to recognise, reward and celebrate hard working youth in various fields of endeavour in Ghana.

According to the organisers, the awards ceremony which is in its third year, forms part of the company’s empowerment interventions to extend credit and support to hardworking individual students and groups.

“The initiative is to recognise, support, empower, and honour hardworking youths front-lining development among Ghanaian youths and making meaningful impacts on Ghana’s economic growth in industries such as health, entertainment, sports, information technology, education, agriculture, fashion, and others,” the organisers said in a statement on their Facebook page.
