Sultry singer, Mzbel is ready to shake Bukom Square come Sunday, May 1 with her Mzbel Rockz Concert.
The concert which features artistes—Adane Best, Gasmila, Keche, Wisa, Tinny, Luther, Choirmaster, Nii Funny, Shilo among others is aimed at empowering young ladies of James Town and its environs.
Mzbel and her team want to also use the platform to equip the young people within the coastal community with the requisite sex education.
Mzbel said she chose Bukom Square because that is where she grew up and she would like to give back to society.
She added that most of the residents of Bukom may not have the confidence to attend shows at venues such as the National Theatre and the Accra International Conference Centre so she thought it wise to take it to their doorstep.
The event manager of the show, Nhyira, told Showbiz, the concert is going to be one of the best in Ghana considering the line-up of artistes and what the team has put in place to make it a success.
