An old school reunion party of past students of Bishop Herman College (BIHECO) and OLA Girls’ Secondary School (OLA) turned romantic when an old boy of BIHECO asked his OLA girlfriend to marry him at the Aburi Botanical Gardens in the Eastern Region on Saturday, July 30.

Bihecan, Rudolph Godwin aka T-Bag went on bended knees to propose to long time POGA girlfriend, Sherita Edinam and the obviously elated lady said ‘yes’.

The lovebirds’ marriage proposal drew a thunderous applause and deafening cheers from their other colleagues, who looked on with admiration and wished them marital bliss.

It was a fun galore when the traquil Aburi Botanical Gardens was turned into a party zone. Many old students took to the dance floor to jam to music provided by Aburi based Peace Sounds.

Fun activities that marked the day were It Takes Two (Knowing Me Knowing You), sack race, ludo, etc among the alumni of the two Volta Region second cycle educational institutions.

"I don't regret coming all the way from Accra to Aburi with my former schoolmates. I really had fun and next year, I hope it will be bigger than this," Eyram Ati, a 2006 OLA School graduate told this reporter.

This year's BHOBU-POGA reunion party was indeed eventful and memorable, which many Bihecans and OLA girls who attended would continue to talk about.
