Make MUSIGA attractive to young musicians —Juicee
US based Ghanaian Afro musician, Juicee, is charging leaders of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to make the organisation more attractive to the young crop of musicians.

She believes lack of interest of young musicians in MUSIGA stems from the absence of interesting initiatives from the union to catch their attention.
As the union prepares to elect new executives, Juicee says it should be the vision of the new administration to put in place measures that will pull young musicians to join MUSIGA.
“I am not a member and I know of many others who are also not members because they don’t see the need.
“We always hear of musicians not getting their royalties. In fact, when you sit back and watch as a musician, there’s nothing interesting about MUSIGA.
“At least, if the old musicians are saying good things about the union and things are working in there, we will all join but as it stands now, there is nothing exciting about MUSIGA”, she told Graphic Showbiz.
Juicee, real name Esther Dzamesi, is certain the only magnet to attract her kind to MUSIGA is the implementation of good policies and projects.
She stated that the union can start by holding forums and seminars to inform and educate its members on relevant policies to guide them.
Juicee who participated in the 2021 African Most Beautiful USA is presently in Ghana to promote her latest single Allow Cash Out.
Allow Cash Out which is accompanied by a video is about investing and taking good care of valuable things in our lives.
Juicee, who has other songs such as Dear God, Life and Power started music five years ago as a hobby but has decided to take it up professionally.
One of her top desires is to collaborate with artistes including KiDi, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.
“A-list artistes have high regard for young artistes who are making waves so it's always easier to get them for a collaboration like what happened in the case of Black Sherif”, she added.
