Lasmid mourns Mohbad, reveals they had a song to release
Ghanaian artiste , Lasmid, has joined thousands of fans of the late Nigerian musician, Mohbad to mourn his death.
Mohbad, who was rising fast in the Nigerian music circles and was anticipated to become one of Nigeria's music exports died on Tuesday, September 12.
Since his death, a number of his colleagues, close friends and associates and artistes from around the world who worked with him have been eulogising him.
And Ghana's Lasmid may have suffered a great loss with Mohbad's death following his disclosure that they were working on releasing a song together.
Taking to his Instagram page to share snippets of the said song, the VGMA Best New Artiste of the Year wrote, "We created a banger and were waiting for the right time to drop it. Today, you're no more, Moh. This song might not come out again. My prayers go out to the family. Rest well. "
Mohbad, was widely admired for his unique style and his sudden departure has certainly left a void in the industry and among those who admired his music skills.
Since Mohbad's tragic passing, there have been outpouring of support and eulogies from celebrities worldwide including American rapper Lil Durk
The deceased has mostly been hailed as a star with a promising future, with great potential and talent that was cut short by his untimely death.
In addition to the tributes, there have also been calls for justice to determine the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's death.
