Keyboardist, Kwesi Keyz, is out with an album, Spirit Worship made up of soft instrumental version of some popular worship songs.
The songs on the album include How Sweet the Name of Jesus by John Newtown, It’s So Sweet To Trust in Jesus by William J.K Patrick and Captain of Israel’s Host by Charles Wesley.
Others are Yehowa Ne Wo Din, a popular Pentecostal hymm and Yehowa Ye Kronkron, a popular local gospel song.
Real name, Bright Kwartey Amoah, Kwesi Keyz told Showbiz he decided to do instrumentals of these particular songs because they are his all-time favourite songs.
“As a keyboardist, I have been rehearsing these songs at my leisure time and I decided to put them together just last month.
“The eight tracks were neatly arranged and I am happy with the positive response I am receiving”, he said.
According to Kwesi Keyz, the reason behind the album is to provide the public with an instrumental version of some popular gospel rhythms for prayer and devotion moments.
He said that God should be put first before anything else and he believes putting together the album is a way of thanking God for how far he has brought him.
“It has not been easy for me as a keyboardist and if today I am making waves with my talent, I believe the little I can do is to put together my own version of these nice songs and let Ghanaians enjoy them”, he added.
The young man who works with an insurance company is hoping to come out with his own album very soon.
