The Silverbird Cinemas, Westhills Mall, will come alive on Saturday, March 12, when hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese, launches his latest album, Forever.
The 11:00 am launch dubbed, “Kwaw Kese Forever” is expected to give fans of the Abodam man the opportunity to get up-close and personal with him through an autograph signing session.
Forever is Kwaw Kese’s sixth album and in the bid to establish his status as one of the seniors in the hiplife game, he sought the services of some other talented musicians to feature on the album.
The list of these artistes include Obrafour, Teephlow, 9ice, Agbeko, Kesse, Sarkodie, Brymo from Nigeria, Ike Wonder, EL, Joey B, Ball J, Stonebwoy, Skonti and Black Prophet.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz on Monday, the Odeim singer said his latest album is a “sum of my experience as a hiplife artiste for almost a decade. I put the best acts together to bring out the best”.
He noted that the launch, which is a collaboration between Madtime Entertainment and Ghana Music.com will be graced by the featured artistes and entreated all his fans to be part of it.
“I will be available to sign autographs for my fans who will buy an album and other souvenirs on display on the day and also take pictures with them. This is just one of the moments to get close to those who admire you for your works and I’m really looking forward to it,” he stated.
A member of Madtime Entertainment, Kevin Aggrey, said the organising team has put in place measures to make the album launch one of its kind.
“This will be the first time the Abodam man will meet his fans face to face after his prison incident and we know his fans will be delighted to know he is back to full business,” he added.
Prior to the launch, there will be an album listening at Classroom Lounge at East Legon on Friday.
Some media partners for the launch are GhOne TV, Starr FM, Pluzz FM, YFM, Ameyaw Debrah.com and Graphic Showbiz.
