Kojo PJay is ready for Outside the Box tomorrow
COMEDIAN Kojo PJay is all set for his maiden event, Outside the Box which is scheduled for the Snap Cinemas at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) tomorrow, May 13.

Apart from Kojo PJay who is the headline act, the event which starts at 6:30 pm will witness performances from comedians OB Amponsah, Lekzy De Comic, Jeneral Ntatia, ID James Brown, Dwomoh, Ranzy, Jerry, Oh Joo and AloWess.
The platform will also afford up-and-coming humourists such as Kwame OB, Gabby Mens, Unknown among others the chance to sell their craft.
In a chat with Graphic Showbiz about the upcoming event, Kojo PJay, who started professional standup comedy in 2018, expressed his excitement to headline a show after years of nurturing and studying from ‘seniors’ in the comedy game.
He noted that over the years, people have underrated his skills because of his rather calm nature but he keeps scoring high admiration after each performance.
He said his calm nature always contradicts his delivery on stage and that was a good reason to name his first comedy show, Outside The Box.
“Over the years, comedy patrons find my style and content thought-provoking yet hilarious to get them laughing their hearts out whenever I perform funny political tales.
“I know how Ghanaian comedy patrons are particular about political jokes but I think I have mastered the art over the years and I can assure patrons that they will be having many of such jokes along others to kill them with laughter,” he stated.
Kojo PJay is a writer and cast member on The Half Serious Show on GhOne TV with OB, Lekzy, Oh Joo, Jerry, Papayaw and Teekay.
He takes a lot of inspiration from South African comedian, Trevor Noah.
