Jeffrey Nortey wins big at GTA 2017

Actor and Spoken Word artist, Jeffrey Nortey won three awards at the recently held UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards(GTA) 2017.

He went home with the Most Influential Student of the Year, Most Influential Male TV Presenter and The Most Influential Male Actor Awards.

A student of Jayee University, Jeffrey is also the Presenter of Buzz Extra and Verna Changing Lives. He is also known for playing a role in Kobi Rana’s movie I Love You But.

Among the several winners on the night were Starr FM’s Caleb Nii Boye (Most Influential Student Radio Presenter), Jerry Wonder of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (Most Influential Student Entrepreneur), DJ Saka of Pan African Television (Most Influential Campus DJ) while Live FM’s campus themed Radio Show, Young Wild and Free won the Most Influential Campus Radio Show.

Celebrity blogger, Monte OZ of 4Syte TV and Radio XYZ Presenter, JKD and Prisca Dede Ayeh of Slayers TV were hosts for the night.
Organised by YouthWeb, the Ghana Tertiary Awards has since its inception celebrated students from tertiary schools making positive strides with their talents.
