It’s CellyChordz time with Finally Us
Combining academic work and music is definitely a huge task for any student and Celly Chordz admits it.

That, however, hasn’t been a hindrance to the female artiste who has been “feeding” students of the University of Ghana and the public with her talent. She is out with a debut song which she calls Finally Us.
“Doing music in school is no joke at all because you have no excuse to fail as a student because you are an artiste”
If you are determined, you would succeed in both endeavours,” the former student of Swedru Senior High School told Showbiz on Monday.
A hiplife tune about what true love entails, Finally Us tells the story of how people need to appreciate love and the “magic moments” love creates for couples. The song also advises couples to fight against all the odds in their relationship and sustain it with love.
“I composed this song for wedding couples because I want them to appreciate the essence of marriage”, she stated.
Real name, Celestine Serwaa Agropah, Celly is a final year student studying Sociology and Information Studies at the University Of Ghana. She started doing music in 2014 but was a pianist back then.
In 2015, she saw the need to start writing her own songs and that encouraged her to release her debut song, Finally Us.
A native of Ho in the Volta Region, Celly says she gets inspired by many Ghanaian artistes including Efya , EL and Manifest.
“I don’t restrict myself to just a genre of music because I’m a versatile artiste. I intend to explore other genres such as RnB, Hip Pop and Afro Pop in future,” she said.
