‘I Want To Love Again’
Why did you break up?
It wasn’t working anymore. It’s good to leave, rather than continue to manage it and live in strife and rancour.
Was he violent?
No, not at all.
What then was the cause of the break up?
Personal.
Any regrets?
No regrets at all. My daughter came out of it and she is the most beautiful thing ever.
Any possibility of reconciliation?
No. My daughter is the most important person and she has to be taken care of. As far as she is concerned, we are for better, for worse.
Are you making plans to give love a chance again?
I don’t have anything against love. I want to love again, after all, God gave us his son to love us.
Was acting something you always wanted to do?
Funny enough, I have always wanted to be a musician. I wanted to sing but my father objected strongly.
Are you considering going into music?
You people should leave me. I don’t want to disgrace myself. Acting is my stronghold, I will stay there. I don’t want to veer into something and get stuck in it. I might do a collaboration soon, you never can tell.
What do you think is responsible for your relevance after almost 20 years in the film business?
I just try to be myself. I don’t only act, I compere at programmes and I have a business that I do on the side.
Again, I think my ability to smile and laugh at every situation. Life is hard, especially in Nigeria but there's no need carrying it on our faces as though the world is on your shoulders.
What’s the most memorable movie you’ve ever done?
My very first movie, When the Sunset. I also loved the role I played in Stronger Than Pain, with Nkem Owoh.
You have a medical background so how easy was it for you to blend into the movie industry?
It was hard. I was scared. The script was as thick as a Bible. I was with Franca Brown, Bob Manuel, the late Funmi Martins, and Sandra Achums. I didn’t think I could do it, but they were all so nice.
You strike people as a happy-go-lucky individual, share with us some low moments in your life.
The break up of a marriage will get any one down after being together for 12 years and had plans for the marriage and all of a sudden, everything stops, but then, that’s life. It hits you with a lot of things but you shouldn’t let it get you down.
What is your beauty regimen?
I work out regularly. I do my facials and massages. I love to rest, travel and I eat right.
How do you unwind?
I relax, I go out with friends, I go for holidays and take a rest.

Another Kim Kardashian sex tape set for release?
LOOK out Kim Kardashian because sources have claimed yet another sex tape of the star is being shopped around with a £19million price tag on it, according to a new report.
The reality TV star shot to fame thanks to her sex tape with former boyfriend, Ray J was released in 2007, but now according to sources another video of the brunette with the rapper is being shopped around and is “even raunchier” than the first one.
“It’s definitely Kim in the video,” a source told The Daily Star. “And it’s even raunchier than her last one. There are all kinds of eye-popping moments.”
While she found fame thanks to the tape, as a now established star, we doubt she'll be pleased by the new leak and neither will new boyfriend Kanye West who reportedly “won't react well” to the news.
The insider added: “Kim fears this will damage her relationship with Kanye West.”
After a recent sex tape of Kanye West with a Kim Kardashian look-a-like was allegedly shopped around, we doubt he has a leg to stand on in the sex-tape argument!

Lil Wayne is ‘good' after double seizure
LIL WAYNE aka Weezy says he's all good despite suffering from two seizures in the past few days which left him hospitalized until last Sunday evening.
Wayne tweeted, "Thanx for all the prayers! I am good."
TMZ broke the story..., Wayne made an emergency landing over Texas in his private plane last Thursday after we're told he suffered a seizure mid-flight and was admitted to the hospital. Then, last Friday, his plane made another emergency landing over Louisiana after he suffered a second seizure.
The rapper is no different than anyone else when they're not feeling well. They just want to home with their mommy and TMZ has learned that's exactly where Weezy is recouping.
Our sources say Wayne's doctors have advised him not to fly so he rescheduled his flight out of LA last Sunday and then cancelled it again the following day.
According to our sources, Wayne has not decided when he will leave town so he's staying with friends and family at his mom's house where we're told he's been in good spirits.
The seizures forced Wayne to miss a court date in Los Angeles last Friday in his case against Quincy Jones III. Wayne is suing over a documentary QIII made about Weezy.
Wayne's lawyers are supposed to update the judge on his status last Monday, and it's looking more and more like he will be unable to testify anytime soon.

Skyfall breaks box office record for Bond films
NEW James Bond movie Skyfall has smashed UK records to give it the biggest opening weekend in 007 film history. The 23rd Bond film took £20.1m, notching up the second-biggest three-day opening for any film in Britain.
Skyfall, which has been a huge hit with the critics, also topped box office rankings around the world after opening last Friday.
The movie, which has not yet been shown in the US, took $77.7m (£48.3m) across the globe, and was number one in every country where it opened.
In the UK, as well as making history as the biggest Bond opening weekend of all time, Skyfall set a new record as the most attended film on a Saturday.
The movie, which stars Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe, claimed the biggest opening of the year so far in the UK.
However, the much-hyped Skyfall failed to beat the £23m UK record set last summer by Harry Potter's finale in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Despite that, Bond producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said: "We are absolutely overwhelmed with the reaction to Skyfall this weekend.
"It is particularly thrilling as the UK is home to James Bond and it being the 50th anniversary year."
Jeff Blake, Chairman of Sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing and Distribution, said: "To have Skyfall embraced at such unprecedented levels is tremendously exciting."
Craig has signed up to return as 007 in two more Bond films, in the longest-running and most successful franchise in film history.
His Bond debut Casino Royale took £13.4m in its opening weekend in the UK, while 2008 film Quantum Of Solace raked in £15.4m.
The royal world premiere of the Sam Mendes film took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London last week, attended by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
