D'banj credits wife for his success
Nigerian musician, D'banj has credited his wife for his success as a musician.
In an Instagram post on the occasion of his 40th birthday, D’banj said his wife (Lineo Didi Kilgrow) has been nothing but a blessing.

The father of one who clocked 40 on June 9, 2020, said he is grateful to his wife for letting him have a wonderful birthday celebration.
“Behind Every KING there is a QUEEN…. Thanks, darling for putting up the best Bday party and for being such an Angel. You are the BEST and have been Nothing but a Blessing and I can’t thank you enough. I love you beyond words boo,” he said.
The couple got married at a secret ceremony in June 2016 and have a son. D'banj said he kept his marriage secret because he did not want the complications and attention of a celebrity relationship.
“I decided to keep my marriage to Didi a secret because based on experience, relationships like this get mixed with media hypes and speculations and then it becomes complicated,” D’banj said in an earlier interview.
“You know the pressure to get married was this high and mum told me she wanted to see the girl I was dating and would want to marry. I told her that there was this babe and we didn’t want to marry yet but she insisted that she was the one for me that we should have a small ceremony and the rest is history. I’m glad I listened to her.”
