I believe in prophecies – Fredyma says after car gift

Many celebrities don't take prophecies seriously because of fake ones they have received or the way some men of God have put fear in them but sound engineer Fred Kyei-Mensah popularly known as Fredyma, says he believes in prophecies.

According to Fredyma, no matter how bad the prophecy is, he makes sure he acts upon it.

“Not many people believe in prophecies, especially celebrities, because of some of the dangerous prophecies our prophets tell them but I don’t joke with them at all.

"I have had a lot of prophets prophesying to me in the past and they all came to pass. No matter how bad that prophecy is, I act on it. We are different but I trust in our prophets and hold them in high esteem,” he told Graphic Showbiz.

Fredyma disclosed that he had not easy it easy since he lost everything at his studio in the June 3 disaster in 2015 but renewed his faith after two prophets prophesied that he would bounce back again.

“Although I had no hope, I still kept my faith in the Lord and kept praying about the prophecies I was once told. I knew the Lord would bless me and the day was coming soon,” he said.

Last Saturday, September 5, one of those prophecies came to pass when Fredyma and veteran actress Grace Omaboe (Maame Dokono) were both gifted Kia Soul cars by musician/businesswoman Diamond Appiah on her 33rd birthday.

Diamond, who is also an actress, held a party at her East Legon Hills mansion to mark the occasion.

A number of showbiz personalities were at the party including actors Selassie Ibrahim, Akofa Edjeani, Akyere Bruwaa, Kalsoume Sinare, Vicky Zugah and David Dontoh; Gospel musician Gifty Adorye; former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Dzifa Gomashie and sound engineer Appiah Dankwa (Appietus).

David Dontoh, Kalsoume Sinare and Selassie Ibrahim all recounted their personal experiences about Fredyma and Maame Dokono and citations were read for the two veterans, celebrating their contributions to the entertainment industry.

Amid tears, Maame Dokono thanked all her friends for their messages and especially to Diamond Appiah for that wonderful gift.

Fredyma, who was lost for words, wished Diamond Appiah well and prayed that she would never lack anything.
