Patrons are assured of a wonderful evening with a celebration of Afrobeat, highlife, jazz and other rhythms from various parts of Africa as other musicians join the star on stage.

Ever since she debuted her maiden single which was her interpretation of Sarkodie and Stonebwoy’s Baafira, Adomaa, real name Joy Onyinyechukwu Adomaa  Serwaa  Adjeman, has captured the imagination and interest of many in the Ghanaian music industry.

Her second single, AdomaaMeetsNaija, succeeded in earning Adomaa, a very large following on social media.

Born in Kaduna in Nigeria to a Ghanaian father and Nigeria mother, Adomaa has often pointed out that she had a passion for music at a very early age.

“I was born into a musical family so you could say it has always been in my DNA. Music has always been my drug and best friend. It has always been the way I express myself and the voice when I needed to say something,” she said.

She had her primary education in Nigeria, and when her family relocated to Ghana, she attended Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast and then the Ghana Institute of Journalism where she studied Journalism.

According to Adomaa, despite training as a journalist, she has decided to concentrate on music for now.

Though the music business can be an intimidating arena for an up-and-coming artiste, Adomaa believes she has the guts to stay and succeed.
