Gospel Minister Frimpomaa sings about her life

The song explores the intricacies of life's journey, while anchoring itself in the unshakeable hope and redemption found in Christ.
According to the Meyi Waye singer, Story of My Life is “a deeply personal song that reflects on the joys and challenges of life's journey”.
Frimpomaa's heartfelt vocals and lyrics paint a vivid picture of the human experience, while the song's uplifting message reminds listeners that even amidst difficulties, God works all things for good for those who love Him
“Story of My Life” by Frimpomaa is a faith-inspired song, rooted in Romans 8:28, that finds strength and hope in Christ's love, no matter the circumstances.
“We are surely not in good times but as a Christian, I know that with Jesus as my anchor, I can confidently sail through every difficult situation and that is the message I want to pass on to Christians and the world,” she said.
Raised in Obuasi, in the Ashanti Region, Frimpomaa, real name Joycelyn Darko attended Mfantsiman Girls High School before training as a Nurse at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
She pursued further studies at the Oxford Brookes University, in London.
Frimpomaa's music has been gaining traction both in Ghana and the UK where she currently resides.
Her debut single, Greater earned recognition on GOD TV in UK with praise from prominent worship leaders Noel Robinson and Lou Fellingham in 2021.
“Sing To The Lord,” released in August 2022, climbed to the top three Contemporary Gospel spot on the ASTEPFWD UK Christian Chart.
Frimpomaa has earned nomination in this year’s New Artiste Award at the Western Gospel Awards with Onyame Ama Ne Nsa So and also competing for the UK based Gospel Song of the Year award at the GMAUK24 awards to be held on Saturday, October 19 in London.
She is very optimistic Story of My Life will not only preach the message of hope to listeners but further her gains on the Ghanaian gospel music scene.
