Golden Bean Hotel, located in the prestigious Nhiyaeso enclave of Kumasi, has been honoured with the 3-Star Hotel of the Year Award at the 2026 edition of the Ashanti Regional Tourism Awards.
Organised by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) under the theme “Celebrating Excellence Beyond Borders – The Black Star Experience,” the awards recognized outstanding contributions to hospitality and tourism development in the region.
As part of the recognition, Golden Bean Hotel also received a Certificate of Excellence, acknowledging its exceptional performance and commitment to delivering high-quality hospitality services.
The official citation praised the hotel for its “harmonious blend of luxury and comfort,” highlighting its 51 well-appointed rooms, including superior standard rooms, deluxe and executive suites. Each space is thoughtfully designed to offer guests a refined and relaxing experience.
The citation further commended the hotel’s exceptional housekeeping standards, unique thematic décor, and inviting ambiance, which collectively create an unmatched guest experience. Guests also benefit from modern facilities such as a well-equipped gymnasium, spacious conference rooms, and a restaurant offering a diverse culinary selection tailored to satisfy even the most discerning tastes.
Receiving the award on behalf of the hotel, Maame Ama Asantewaa, Sales and Marketing Manager, who led the Golden Bean team at the ceremony expressed gratitude to the Ghana Tourism Authority and reaffirmed the hotel’s commitment to excellence: “This recognition is a testament to the dedication and passion of our entire team.
