Ghanaian DJ, radio presenter and musician, Andy Dosty has disclosed that he has never taken money from Kumi Guitar in the music industry as alleged in the media.
According to him, he has a perception that the artiste does not have enough to be tipping people.
“Kumi Guitar is one person I have never collected a dime from. I have my own reservations… early I thought he was poor, I mean, not poor in the bad state, pre-Zylofon, he didn’t have that much to give,” he explained.
Speaking on his show, Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz 103.9 FM on Tuesday, the presenter refuted the industry troll that made headlines on Tuesday, adding that he [Andy] owes Kumi Guitar some gratitude for a kind gesture.
“About two years ago, I asked some musicians to compose a Christmas song … no one helped, then, Kumi Guitar, I told him on Saturday, Monday, the record was ready…,” he said.
