Media General’s TV3 Network, organisers of the Ghana Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant, last Friday launched this year’s edition at a ceremony in Accra.
The launch also saw the unveiling of a new logo,“Black ‘N’ Proud”, an indication that the pageant had evolved with time.
This year’s event is expected to come out with a different phase as there will be an increase in the number of contestants from the usual 10 ladies to 16 – representing each region in Ghana.
Delivering a speech during the launch, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Media General, Mrs Beatrice Agyemang Abbey, said “this year’s competition comes with a better package, as well as entertainment and creative content for viewers and it will also contribute to showbiz discussions.”
She said TV3 was not only committed to providing quality entertainment but projecting Ghana and Africa through culture.
According to her, creating delightful concepts was what had kept their brands as one of the best in entertainment.
“GMB will provide amazing content this year. It will be great, classic and phenomenal. I urge all smart and intelligent ladies who want to apply to gather confidence and do so when the time is up,” she said.
