Winner of the ‘Artiste of the Decade’ at the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA), Sarkodie, says he still sees Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale as his brother no matter their difference.

My brother SHATTA-WALE can get me mad ( cos I’m human ) and I have every right to... same as him but I will never ever Let that take away how dope this brother is in my eyes ... and he knows that for sure !— Sarkodie (@sarkodie) May 22, 2019
The rapper has however advised his fellow musicians to control their emotions regardless of the provocation.
He added that emotions can be difficult to rein in, acting on reflexes can lead one into making wrong decisions or choices.

We can disagree with each other and we don’t have to be friends but we can’t let that take away from the fact that we know how DOPE we are 😊 ... We all play a part in pushing our country Ghana— Sarkodie (@sarkodie) May 22, 2019
