False biblical doctrines influenced my poor fashion sense – Diana Asamoah
Gospel musician, Diana Asamoah has disclosed that she didn’t have a good fashion until recently because she was brainwashed by false doctrines from the late prophet Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku widely known as ‘Apraku My Daughter’ and other preachers at the young stages of her Christian life.
In a recent interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning show, Diana Asamoah revealed that some doctrines she imbibed in her early Christian life influenced her poor fashion sense.
“When I gave my life to Christ, there were a lot of false doctrines. Apraku My Daughter was the famous pastor by then. So, my church invited him, and when he came, he said that a dwarf took him to a forest where it was revealed to him that ladies’ hair cream is made of blood, the powder is from the ashes of human bones, including make-up products and others, and he made us understand that anyone involved in such things wouldn’t make it to heaven,” she told the host, Roselyn Felli.
As a new convert, Diana indicated that she was gripped with fear since she was not well versed and knowledgeable with the word of God. (Related article: Diana Asamoah: Men want me but I turn them down because of God’s work)
“I didn’t wear makeup at the time because Apraku My Daughter said they were produced by ‘Maame Water’ [Marine spirits] and so when you do it, you will go into the river and not heaven,” she said.
However, her encounter with one pastor called Ato Haggan and his deeper teachings in the word of God shaped her understanding of such issues.
Until recently, Diana Asamoah had been known to be very reserved with her looks. However, all that has changed in the last few years and Diana Asamoah who has vehemently spoken against makeup and wearing of wigs among other fashion tastes has been at the peak of her fashion sense.
