Empress Gifty’s TREC24 on April 1
This year’s edition of The Resurrection Effect Concert (TREC) headlined by gospel musician, Empress Gifty is set to take place on Monday, April 1, 2024, at the Living Faith Ministries International Church (LFMIC), Ashaley Botwe, Old Town Down at 4 pm.

The concert themed, “He has Risen”, will feature other artistes publicised for the event are MOGmusic, ACP Kofi Sarpong, Kofi Owusu Peprah and Akesse Brempong.
According to Empress Gifty, TREC didn’t happen last year because she was burdened with other relevant projects but it’s back in full swing this year.
“Unfortunately due to some projects the Empress Ministries embarked on last year and my absence in the country at that time, we did not stage TREC. This notwithstanding, I am more than happy to announce to you that TREC is on this year.
“Together with my team, we decided to create a clear atmosphere with this edition, and for that reason, this year’s TREC will take place in an indoor set-up, whether rain or shine,” she remarked at the press launch recently.
Since announcing her presence on commercial music scene in 2007 with Aseda, Empress Gifty has been consistent, inspiring people with a number of songs such as Feefeefe, Jesús Be Too Much, Ebenezar, Jesus overdo, Odiyompo, Eye Woaa and Awiey3 Pa.
In the last few years, TREC has provided the platform for her to lead music patrons and particularly her fans, in inspiring sessions of praise and worship in commemoration of Easter celebrations.
A number of gospel artistes have been featured over the years and Empress Gifty has also noted there will be performances by up and coming gospel musicians.
