Debate: What If Your Parents Don’t Like Her?
It will not be easy but I will do my very best to convince my parents to accept the love of my life because dumping her is out of the question, I won’t do that. As Christians, we are one people and should accept each other as such.
Whatever I do as a Christian, I pray to God and ask for direction so I will do the same if such a situation comes up. I will seek divine intervention and I believe God will make a way. Whatever be the case, I trust the good Lord to guide me so that I can marry the love of my life inspite of any opposition from my parents.

I will find out from my parents why they don’t like my chic, if their reason is based on her religion, tribe or her attitude towards them, I will do well to sort things out between them. I am the man whose girlfriend is the issue here so I have to stand firmly in order to save my relationship.
If it becomes difficult trying to convince my parents to accept her, I will fall on some church elders to come and intervene because I really love my chic and would not want to break up with her simply because my parents do not like her, especially when their reason is not tangible.
As a Christian, I believe in the power of prayer so I will fall on that because marriage is from God and not man. I believe that with all these options, there will certainly be a way and the dream of marrying my chic will become a reality. Remember that with God, all things are possible.

I have to find out from my parents their reason for saying that she is not the one for me. Are their reasons based on tribalism or religion? Christianity does not teach us that so I have to do very well to convince them against whatever flimsy excuse they may have against my woman.
If they still insist that I break up with her, I will ask other family members to talk to them on my behalf. Bear in mind that I love her very much, again, she has not offended me in any way so how can I just dump her with the excuse that my parents don’t like her.
When all my efforts to convince my parents to accept my girlfriend fails, I will ask my family members to stand in for my parents and marry her. I know that parents play a vital role in marriages in our part of the world but I have no other choice than to forget about them and go ahead to marry the woman of my heart.

They will have reasons for not liking her but as far as I know, there is no perfect lady for marriage because you won’t get everything that you want in a lady. It takes time so one has to take her and groom her into what one wants.
Marriage is a long journey so I have to get into it cautiously whether or not my parents approve of my choice of a wife. I will make sure I date her for a long time before going into it. That way, I will give my parents enough time to observe her and know her good character.
Sometimes, it becomes necessary to bring in a third party like a pastor who believes in me to talk to my parents. My pastor should be able to convince my parents to accept my girl and allow us to get married. I believe that when all these are done carefully, my parents will be convinced and allow our plans of getting married to become a reality.

Will tell her I love her so much as she already knows but my parents don’t like her so we have to break up. It won’t be an easy thing to do but I don’t have any option. If my parents don’t like her, it will be very difficult to have a peaceful relationship because there will always be rifts here and there.
If my parents don’t like her, it will be very very difficult to talk about marriage because it just won’t work. I will look for some big money to give her so she can go into some kind of trading so that she can be self-dependant.
I will do well to explain everything to her about my parents’ stance, as I said earlier, it will be a very difficult thing to do but I have to be a real man and handle the break-up so maturely so she doesn’t feel too bad.
You know the important role parents play in marriages here so I can’t disobey them and go ahead to marry someone they don’t like for whatever reason. Once I help her to establish some kind of business, at least she won’t feel bitter even though I know she will be very hurt about the break-up.

First, I will talk to my mum to find out why they don’t like her. What grown-ups see, younger people like myself can’t see. We the youth of today take things for granted. For example, we don’t go through all the procedures we ought to go through before considering marriage.
We end up making mistakes all in the name of love. All said and done, I will find out from my parents why they don’t like her. It may be mere hatred without any tangible reason so I will convince them to like her. My parents may have taken that stance because someone from my girlfriend’s tribe may have offended them for which reason they don’t want to know.
Whatever reasons they come up with, I will do my possible best to convince them to like her and ask for their blessings to marry her. That might not be an easy task but I have to be bold as the man to do everything that I can to save my relationship because I love my girlfriend and would not like to lose her or hurt her.

I will find out from my girl if she or any member of her family has offended my parents even though I know they haven’t. I will also suggest to my parents to allow her to stay with us for about five months so they can study her very well and know her true character.
Once we observe her during that period and realise she is a good and hardworking girl, I am sure my parents will be convinced and allow me to marry her. I know some people can hide their true character till you marry them but I trust my girl and I know she is a good material for marriage.
It will be very difficult for me to dump her because we love each other very much. I only hope my parents will approve of our marriage after she has stayed with us for a while.

If they don’t like her, I am the one going to marry her and not them so it should not be a problem for me. In this time and age, nobody picks a wife for a man so my parents should leave me alone to marry the woman of my choice whether or not they like her. That, for me, is no issue at all.
If my parents insist, I will ignore them and go ahead to marry her because I love her and have been with her for all these years. How do I wake up one day to tell her to go her way because my parents don’t like her, how? That is not fair.
I love her so much that I won’t ever cheat on her, dumping her is totally out of the question. I will marry her and cherish her till death do us part.
