Daughters of Glorious Jesus get busy in 2020
Last year, veteran Gospel trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus marked 30 years in the music industry and they are continuing the celebrations into 2020.
The group, made up of Cynthia Agyare Appiadu, Monica Owusu Ansah and Edna Agyare Sarpong, held a media event at the Bay View Village, Atomic Junction in Accra on Tuesday, January 11 where they outlined their plans for this year.

First up is the release of their new single titled Y’aseda Dwom which they treated guests to at the event.
Also in the pipeline for the group is the continuation of their nationwide tour which they started last year.
“We did almost eight regions last year and we are completing the tour somewhere in April this year. We feel we should reach out to our fans in the other regions as we celebrate three decades in the Gospel ministry,” Cynthia said.
Having taken up charitable causes over the years, Daughters of Glorious Jesus also disclosed that this year, they will be visiting some orphanages to put smiles on the faces of inmates.
“The Lord has blessed us so much and we feel the best way to also put smiles on the faces of the less privileged is to reach out to them and provide their basic needs. We have reached out to a couple of orphanages and we will be visiting them soon,” they said
Daughters also promised to be more visible on social media. “When we started, there was nothing like social media but now everything is about social media. We promise our fans they are going to see more of us in that space too,” they noted.
Last year, Daughters quietly released their autobiography titled Our Story and the trio said they intended to make it available to the public soon. Our Story is about the lives of the singers, their challenges, failed promises and triumphs in their career.
Daughters is one of the prolific Gospel groups in Ghana and have countless hit songs such as Yesu Fata Ayeyi, Aseda Ben, Asomdwoe Hene, Wo Ntaban, Bue Mani, Osombo Ma Yen, Yesu Mo, Bebree among others.
