Clock ticks down to Joe Mettle's Praise Reloaded 2026 tomorrow

The countdown is almost over as thousands of gospel music lovers prepare to converge on the Accra Sports Stadium tomorrow, Sunday, June 28, for this year's edition of Praise Reloaded, Joe Mettle's flagship worship experience which has grown into one of Ghana's biggest annual gospel gatherings.

Now a staple on the country's gospel calendar, the event is expected to once again draw worshippers from across Ghana and beyond for hours of praise, worship and prayer under the theme, The River, inspired by John 7:38: "Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."

Organised by Joe Mettle Ministries and powered by Reverb Studios and its partners, gates to the Accra Sports Stadium will open at 1:00 p.m., with the main worship experience beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Admission is free, although organisers have encouraged patrons to register via www.joemettlemusic.com to secure their seats ahead of what is expected to be another massive turnout.

Having evolved from an indoor worship gathering into a major stadium event over the years, Praise Reloaded has cemented its place as one of the country's most anticipated gospel concerts, bringing together some of Africa's finest worship ministers.

This year's edition will feature Joe Mettle and his Love Gift Band alongside an impressive line-up of celebrated gospel acts including evergreen trio Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Minister Eugene Zuta, Bethel Revival Choir, as well as Nigerian worship ministers Sunmisola Agbebi and Prospa Ochimana.

Ahead of Sunday's event, Joe Mettle has also released a new single titled Faithful on all major digital streaming platforms as a spiritual anchor for this year's gathering.

Sharing his expectations, Joe Mettle said this year's theme points worshippers to the work of the Holy Spirit.

"There is this deep stirring and excitement within me about Praise Reloaded this Sunday. I am expecting a mighty move of God as we acknowledge the presence of the Holy Spirit and lift up songs of the Spirit in unity. I would like to encourage everyone to come with expectation," he said.

Looking ahead to the experience, the award-winning gospel artiste described Praise Reloaded 2026 as more than just another concert.

"For me, Praise Reloaded 2026 is a date with destiny. It's a time to come and draw from the source of the living waters as we gather in God's presence lifting up praise and worship unto His name. We are expecting a night marked by breakthroughs, divine visitation, restoration, consecration and empowerment for exploits," he stated.

Building on the success of last year's Festival of Gratitude edition, organisers say arrangements have been made, including shuttle buses from selected locations across Accra to transport worshippers to and from the stadium.

With only hours to go, all signs point to another memorable edition of Praise Reloaded, an event that has, over the years, become synonymous with heartfelt worship and spiritual renewal for thousands of believers.
