Budding Ghanaian designer, Clement Asemnyra, displaying the prize he won in the fifth episode of the Joy Prime Fashion Guru Sewing Bee contest.
The competition, an initiative of Multi TV, is to discover new fashion talents and give them the platform to showcase their skills.
Mr Asemnyra, whose designs are regularly featured in The Mirror, expressed gratitude to the sponsors of the contest for giving him the opportunity to showcase his talent on live television.
“It was very challenging because we had very limited time and resources to remodel a man’s shirt into a lady’s blouse. I am excited I won and I am hoping to use the exposure from the show to market my design better,” he said.
