Bozoma in a post on her Instagram page said she was exceedingly proud of the honour and will do her best to represent her people to the diaspora.
In a separate post, she indicated that she was committed to working on behalf of Ghana after organising the Full Circle Festival with actor Boris Kodjoe.
Bozoma also revealed that, a year ago President Akufo-Addo asked her what she could do to contribute to the reputation of Ghana in the diaspora as a daughter of the land.
She posted: I am exceedingly proud that I’ve returned and delivered what The President asked of me. It is no coincidence that @cnn has named Ghana #4 on the list of places to visit in 2019. But our work doesn’t stop because our short holiday time has come to an end. I’m committed to continue working on behalf of the country of Ghana, with the offices in the government (including the Ghana Tourism Authority) in order to increase the visibility of its rich history, dynamic culture, incomparable hospitality, and promising future. Again, The President has set a high bar... but I intend to reach it, and surpass it. ONWARD!
Bozoma is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Endeavor. Previously, she served as Chief Brand Officer at Uber until June 2018. She was also a marketing executive at Apple Music until June 2017, after joining the company in its acquisition of Beats Music.
