The sixth edition of the Ghana Movie Awards came off last Wednesday at the Accra International Conference Centre with Beast of No Nation sweeping as many as 10 awards on the night.
Beast of No Nation which was given nods in 15 categories won among others the Best Sound Mixing and Editing, Best Visual Effects, Best Editing, Best Production Design, Cinematography, Best Music Original Score and Best Directing.
The event started as late as 11.35pm and this got everyone at the auditorium upset because they had waited for too long. The Two Idiots who opened the show could not thrill the audience with their performance because it was a non-starter for the already peeved audience.
Nigerian comedian Hogan who was a Co-MC came up to liven the place a bit after which Forster Romanus took his turn to treat the audience to a series of jokes.
Perhaps the most exciting segment was when actor Adjetey Annang aka Pusher came on stage to sing and also show his dancing p
The night itself was for the actors and filmmakers who had come in their numbers to grace the occasion.
