And Ye Wo Krom Bash jammed

As the nation turned its attention to Kwahu in the Eastern region for the Easter celebration, Abono, where Lake Bosomtwe is located gave revellers in the Ashanti region an awesome moment too with an exciting jam.

Dubbed, ‘Ye Wo Krom Easter Bash,’ the event saw the small town of Abono host musicians, movie stars, comedians and people from all walks of life as non-stop music filled the atmosphere.

There was loads of music and a wide array of food, and patrons of the event were spoilt for choice.

Some of the artistes who rocked the jam were Atom of ‘Ye Wo Krom’ fame. Of course, his act sent the crowd into frenzy as they danced and sang along when he treated them to the hit song.

Another musician who gave revellers a good time was Nsroma. Dressed in animal hide, he sort of brought back fond memories of much loved hiplife artiste, Okomfo Kwaadee.

Yes, the two musicians rocked, but actress Nana Ama Mcbrown, who was the co-emcee of the show, just killed it. She was able to excite the crowd with hilarious live performance of Bisa Kdei’s Mansa and Brother Brother singles.

And it even became more exciting when Kumawood actors, Kyeiwaa and Akroboto, joined Nana Ama on stage to do an English translation of the Mansa song.

The jam was also laced with stand-up comedy by comedian, Abenkwan.
