Actor John Dumelo approved Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture by parliament

Actor and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo is among four deputy ministers approved by Parliament today to bolster key government portfolios. 

The confirmed appointees are John Dumelo as Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Clement Apaak as Deputy Minister for Education, Thomas Ampem Nyarko as Deputy Minister for Finance, and Samson Ahi as Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.

Dumelo’s appointment is anticipated to inject new ideas and innovative approaches into the agribusiness sector, driving initiatives that enhance food production, support local farmers, and propel the industry forward.
