A Plus to MzGee: ‘That shoe you are wearing is size 84’
Ghanaian musician cum politician, Kwame Asare Boadu popularly known as A Plus has encouraged television host, MzGee, who has replaced actress Nana Ama McBrown as host of United Showbiz to be courageous and set her own record with the show.

In a Facebook post yesterday congratulating MzGee, real name, Gloria Akpene Nyarku-Acquah, A Plus said the shoe the latter is currently wearing is size 84 but she could succeed at her new role with passion, perseverance and hard work.
“Every human being is unique in their own way; no one is useless . But whether the old record will be lost in the new or it will forever remain unbroken, lies in the womb of that courageous person who patiently endures the excruciating pain of being heavily pregnant with passion, perseverance and hard work.
“Congratulations Mz Gee. That shoe you are wearing is size 84, but nothing is too big for a willing heart and soul. Keep going, keep growing, keep glowing and keep soaring!
“You can get it if you really want,” the post read.
For weeks, rumours were rife that Nana Ama McBrow had exited as host of the UTV’s United Showbiz but the dust finally settled on popular actress’ new 'home' following a jamboree of a welcome by Onua TV to officially announce her joining the Media General team on Monday, March 13.
The glorious reception was carried live on all Media General outlets including all their social media platforms.
Speaking with Johnnie Hughes on the Sunrise Show on 3FM92.7 on Tuesday, March 14, Nana Ama McBrown said she has no regrets joining Media General since she prayed about the decision and she is happy God is moving her to another level.
“I will not let anybody’s opinion about the decision I make condemn my movement. I have really worked hard to get here. I promise that I’m not bothered by critics.
“I’m so happy for moving on and to the next level God is taking me. To be honest, something must happen behind to move forward,” she said.
