Tic Tac back with All Over the World

Tic Tac, one of the exponents of hiplife music in Ghana, won the hearts of many with his hit song, Philomena, when he came into the limelight some 15 years ago.

After Philomena, he thrilled music lovers with hits such as Kangaroo, Akoto, Accra Connection, Fefenefe among others.

However, last year, his song Pumpum failed to make the impact his songs usually do but the artiste who has been missing in action for a while is convinced his new single, All Over the World, will be received well.

On the contrary, Tic Tac’s lyrical content as well as instrumetation on All Over The World are not impressive upon listening to the song.

With 15 years of experience under his belt, one would expect him to put out  a good piece but that is not the case especially for an artiste who has had some good songs and hits in the past.

Produced by Dr. Ray under TN Records, the song talks about a variety of issues but one that is paramount is on how men love to shield their feelings from their partners.

Rendered in both English and Twi languages, the song employs both the Azonto and Alkayida rhythms.

Talking to Showbiz on why he decided to join the Azonto and Alkaiyida train, he said; “I have been around for a long time and I believe that, as an artiste, one should have the ability to adapt to change.

“It is not as if I’m following the masses but that is what is doing the magic now. Azonto and Alkayida songs are ruling the airwaves,” he stated.

“Many of us die out because we refuse to learn, research, and be educated on the new things happening especially among the youth and personally, I don’t joke with new things when they come to being.

“I used the song to throw a challenge to all the men all over the world not to be who they are not. This is because you cannot hide the real you forever. Sooner or later, the truth will come out,” he said.
